I have great respect for Ryan and have a few of his books on my shelf, but please don't buy into this "wake up early" ideology as it's the furthest thing from science.

Only about 36% of the population is able to live up to what Ryan is proposing and remain healthy: the morning larks. For the rest of us, this advice is actually counter-productive and will make us sick – based on hundreds of studies.
