Thank you for your comment Vena, I think you misunderstood me, I don't have an issue with people asking me. I have a problem with being bullied and ostracised and being called names if I don't comply. It's funny that you'd mention your name, because people have been calling me all different things - Sylvia is a lot more popular than Vena, I give you that. But, there are plenty of people I've met including one of my bosses who called me Cynthia for the first 2 months I worked there, except I was intelligent enough to recognised that it wasn't out of spite or lack of respect, but just a mistake. A simple human mistake. I met this girl once, her name was Veneesha, it took me 2 weeks (did I mention that during those two weeks we spent every day together on a project) to remember it and pronounce it properly, once again, nothing to do with respect (because she was awesome and I really tried to remember it) it just didn't want to stick in my frickin' brain and I felt really bad about it. All these new pronouns are introducing more confusion and division between people, look at yourself, you don't even want to have anything to do with me, just because I have a different opinion.
