Why do you think women agree to take on the full load and not ask their partner to equally share in the responsibilities?

You see, I never lost interest in my husband (we celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary this month - and have 4 adult children who've left home) BUT from the onset, I was clear that we'll both have an equal share of responsibilities, especially when the babies were born - some of the chores were mostly done by me because I enjoy it more, like doing our tax returns for example - he did the washing 95% of the time, because he found it therapeutic. Other stuff, like changing dirty nappies and making lunch for school was 50% 50% - What's stopping other couples to do the same? it's 2021 not 1950
